Sonja Ringo is a Canadian–American poet and the author of two poetry collections, Where the Beetle Went for Lunch and mortal atlas. Her third book is anticipated in early 2026.

Through her visual art practice, mothlight portals, she creates surreal mixed‑media works — weaving together fibre, poetry, jewelry, and upcycled clothing. Ringo’s writing and art explore transcendence, grief, the modern world, and the nature of existence.

When not conversing with the muse in her Calgary home, she can be found haunting little‑known corners of the globe or curled up beneath an old cedar, searching for wild mushrooms.
